In 2015, The Envelope Works invested heavily in new innovative Reel to Reel litho envelope technology. We purchased a Muller Martini web press to enable us to print jumbo 530mm reels of paper in cmyk 100% coverage before splicing the reel in half and re-winding back up on 265mm reels ready to convert on our bespoke servo driven envelope presses which enable us to hold register of the finished printed reels allowing us to convert your envelopes at high speed.

The benefits of Reel to Reel litho compared to traditional flat sheet conversion is speed and also the fact we can produce envelopes in two processes compared to the three normally taken with the traditional method. We can produce Reel to Reel litho envelopes in both Uncoated and Matt Coated stocks and we carry paper weights between 90gsm and 130gsm in stock, all our paper are either FSC® or PEFC accredited.

A marine degradable material is designed to break down completely in aquatic environments, specifically in aerobic marine water or anaerobic marine sediments, within a specified timeframe. The degradation process of such materials occurs without leaving behind any toxic substances or residues that could harm marine life or the environment. The absence of ecotoxicity ensures that the material’s breakdown does not pose a threat to the organisms living in the marine ecosystem. This type of material is beneficial for reducing pollution and protecting marine habitats.
